Notre Dame Fighting Irish mens’ lacrosse (#4, 4-1, 1-0 ACC) host the Michigan Wolverines (NR, 5-2, 0-0 B1G), Wednesday at 4:00 pm, WatchESPN.
This is the third meeting between the two teams, with the Irish winning 16-5 at home last year, and 17-8 in Ann Arbor in 2015. The Wolverines haven’t played the meat of their schedule, but have a quality win against Marquette against loses to Penn and Yale.
Tall Canadian midfielder, Brent Noseworthy, is a very good player and leads their offense with 22 goals and 4 assists, shooting at 46%. Kevin Mack, a freshman from Long Island, is having a great start to his Michigan career with 13 goals and 13 assists. We also like watching Nick DeCaprio on their defense.
Outlook
It was ND-Atl 2.0’s turn to provide the outline for the game this week, and he’s only sent us this:
‘nuf said.
They say to beware, as Wednesday games are for the hunter, but for Michigan we have other motivations. Go get ’em, boys!

Well, that is a bummer. Lots to not feel great about, but in particular #30 seemed to play a terrible game. All but one of the second-half goals I saw from Michigan, he was (in some cases wildly) out-of-position. This may be a bit unfair, though, as I only saw from about halfway through the 3rd quarter on.
At least Garnsey seems back?
Do we have to close our lacrosse program now?
We need to take it out on Ohio State
Yes, please.
A lot to unpack from this game. May need to just blame it on midweek trap.
