It’s the 33rd Notre Dame football uniform concept as presented by the imagination of 18 Stripes. Today’s offering actually has roots as a bit of a throwback but with a couple of new touches.
Remember back in the 1980’s and 90’s when teams would wear bowl patches way up on their shoulders? Like me, you may be instantly remembering the Sugar Bowl vs. Florida when the Irish came back in a big way on the legs of Jerome Bettis. Back in the day, there were some absolutely massive bowl patches. Hilariously large.
So, I thought why not put a shamrock up there? Granted, shoulder pads are 1/4 of the size as they were 30 years ago and this is a tough ask with modern equipment.
Additionally, I didn’t want to try this with a blue jersey. Instead, I went with a green jersey and an eye-popping light green for the shamrocks and trim.
I want to not like this, but it really looks good. It makes me think about what could have been if Adidas had done a good job with the hoops unis…I mean, it’s the same colors as the Zubaz monstrosities, but they work together well here.
Yeah, these?
To be fair, these had a chance if they removed the dumb pattern all over the shorts and used white trim.
Also….have a mint shamrock concept coming way down the road that I really like.
No. These were horrible from the get-go
I believe in redemption.

Favorite jersey yet, I think navy pants would do the trick, though!
Ooh, that would be a bold look.
Like these a lot. If we could make the Shamrock out of some reflective gold material it’d look really snazzy
