The Blue-Gold Game coming right during the NFL Draft was yet another example of how the college football calendar continues to frustrate with its key moments squished together. With the spring game in the rearview mirror, here's a review of the the NFL selection process from a week and a half ago. Notre Dame Draft [...]
Your weekly dose of Notre Dame news, opinion, and other stuff. 3 News Stories #1 Gambling Man Texas Tech is in a bit of a pickle and I'm sure head coach Joey McGuire isn't thinking too much about Notre Dame joining a conference this week following reports that quarterback Brendan Sorsby has been checked into [...]
This moment will be seared into my memory forever. It's the first week of September 2001 and our freshmen class at St. Lawrence University is sitting outside on thin folding chairs listening to a bunch of faculty speaking during an orientation program. At one point, someone mentioned the youngest and oldest members of the freshmen [...]
The scoreboard read 41-40 on Saturday afternoon as the Blue team defeated the Gold team in the latest edition of the Notre Dame spring game. The complicated scoring system and lack of real tackling early on made the game difficult to watch at times, but that's par for the course with most spring games. Great [...]

No alternate or one-off uniforms here. This is a series discussing the worst standard uniform changes in modern college football. The Lead Up Paul Johnson was hired at Georgia Tech in 2008 and in his first season he moved the program away from a shiny Vegas gold to a deeper and darker mustard gold throughout [...]

While Notre Dame is in the middle of spring practice I thought it was time for a roster and scholarship update. We had a brief winter look at the roster back in December but haven't done one of these full posts in nearly 5 months. It is time. Plus, now we get to make the [...]
