Inter Milan
In the world of fashion, mixing black and blue can be a faux pas. If you’re a man wearing black pants it’s not easy to pull off a blue shirt, it’s tough to make it look good. For 100 years, the Italian Serie A soccer team Football Club Internazionale Milano aka Internazionale aka Inter Milan have said screw it to these fashion rules.
The club has altered the look through the years, not an unfamiliar move by most soccer teams in Europe. However, they have mostly stayed true to the vertical black and blue stripes that have defined the club’s success.
It should also be noted that Inter have worn some of the best away and 3rd kits in the world, too. They have some white jerseys in black and blue that are sensational.
Following the 2020-21 season, their shirt sponsorship with Pirelli tires ended and removed one of the most stylish brands on a kit for a soccer team. Inter wondered in the woods for a couple years before signing a $20 million per year deal with Paramount+ streaming services to sponsor their kit. This led to the kit above with the Transformers logo, awesome.
If there was a Decepticon version, I would buy that jersey.
